2020 nk builders recap.png

2020… well that was weird

Ginormous wild fires, of course COVID and then the year ends with random steel monoliths. Being in California we know the potential of wild fires but THAT big and THAT many? And the other two…?!?! It’s safe to say it’s been a roller coaster of a year.

On a high note this year we finished our biggest project to date which was exciting. Check out the glory that is the 120 room Home 2 Suites by Hilton in Atascadero just off the Del Rio exit.

Recently we broke ground on the Iron Works Mixed-Use project for HASLO on Broad Street which adds to their existing project next to the plumbers union.

2021 is looking bright. Our hands are in a number of projects with one potential event being very exciting. But we’ll have to reveal more at a later date. Stay tuned.

Enjoy the holidays the best you can! Wishing you and yours the best 2021 possible.

Other Interesting Tidbits

Lumber prices are up per TradingEconomics.com. COVID created a spike in demand for new home builders and the obvious home renovations. But currently prices are down to $650 per 1000 feet vs. the high back in August of $1000.
